JOLLY have been an utter joy for my household.  My wife and I simply love their music, and we own all their albums.  But it’s been a while since we heard anything from them.  We first found them back in 2012 when they toured with Riverside, and we were immediately taken with their alternative rock/grunge/prog rock crossover music.  There’s just something about the soul, funkiness, and heart in their music that has made me a fan for life.

Well, the band has finally announced their plans for the future!  On a newly released video, the band have announced two things:  First of all, there is a new album coming in 2016 called “Family”.  From the clips on the video, it sounds like their most complex stuff to date.  Second, however, they have ditched the music label and managers and are going it alone.  In place of that, they have started a new Patreon page where their fans can now go pledge $1 or whatever they want for each new JOLLY song, which will be released around once per month.  So, basically, you can help fund JOLLY for a buck per month.  I don’t know about you, but that’s totally worth it.  I’ll probably pledge more than that, too.
